Reducing Disturbance

Reducing soil disturbance can improve soil health and save farmers money by reducing the number of times they go over their fields. 

This year, we received a generous donation to purchase a no-till seeder, which enabled us to experiment with seeding part of one of our Kamut fields without our usual spring tillage. 

Our yield comparisons between treatments were encouraging. We look forward to trying this again in the future.
