Glyphosate in the rain

Glyphosate is the most widely sprayed chemical pesticide in the world. It now contaminates water, soil and food. It came as a great surprise to also find it in the rain. To make this fact better known, we continue to collect samples from each rain and snowstorm.  We hope to receive support in the future to expand the study to better understand the source and its effects. In 2025, we tested 21 samples and found that 10 had detectable levels of glyphosate, with 5 of those samples having measurable levels ranging from 1.1 to 7.3 ppb.
