February 3, 2026Moisture is so scarce and increasingly inconsistent in our region. Therefore, insights into how different crops and practices affect moisture availability are extremely valuable to farmers. That is why we continue to work with the Montana Climate Office by gathering and evaluating moisture use data and other field observations. Our goal is to design and execute experiments to enable smarter moisture management decisions for farmers.
